The Gem® is a sample plate conceived especially to consider the behavior of the materials and processes second by taking account of main contraints of design which one will find in injection or rotomoulding. The shape of Gem® has been particularly well-treated so that one can visualise effects of transparency or opaqueness, matt or glossy, opaque or translucent, photochromic or luminescent, fluorescent ; the touch aspects: hard, matt, flexible, nervous, smooth, rough, sticking, warm, tepid, cold ; the smell aspects ; the taste aspects or even the tone of the material.

The Gem® is a concentrated of technology allowing :
1/ by its convex shape, to bring to light the materials or processes at effects
2/ by its differents states of surface to visualise flow materials, weld lines and the injection area
3/ removable pavements allow the setting up of specific textures, chemical engraving or electroerosion
4/ an area of bi-injection is reserved to test bi-materials or bi-colour solutions
5/ a area of thickness variation allowing to observe differences of transparency, colour and rigidity
6/ a system of exclusive assembly, allowing any configurations and situation scenarios
7/ the assembly of two half-Gem® to test the whole of tactile datas
